2023 McLaren Artura Trophy race car

McLaren is a British automotive manufacturer which was founded in 1963 and

is based in Surrey, England. They are well known for their involvement with Formula One racing. In the last five years, McLaren has been working on a new type of car that is designed for the track. The company has now unveiled the design and name of their newest car: the McLaren Artura.

The mclaren artura 2023 is different from most other cars because it doesn't have any doors or seats as it is designed to be purely focused on driving - "a hyper-car that's a track day weapon". It was launched in 2019 as part of McLaren's 50th anniversary celebrations and will cost about €2 million (£1.8 million) when it goes on sale this year.

The McLaren Artura is a hydrogen-powered electric supercar that will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March. It is being touted as the first zero emissions vehicle with a battery range of more than 500 km (310 miles) on a single charge.

The car features 8-speed seamless paddle shift automatic gearbox, adaptive suspension system, carbon fibre bodywork and an array of state-of-the-art sensors and camera systems. The McLaren Artura’s design is heavily inspired by the aeronautical industry, with sleek lines and an aggressive stance reminiscent of jet fighter jets or stealth bombers.

The McLaren Artura echoes the company's focus on reducing emissions to combat climate change while simultaneously seeking to redefine what a 21st century performance car should offer in terms of powertrain technology, air quality and driving dynamics.
